Antique Japanese Octagonal Imari Plate with Fuku Seal Mark for your consideration. The plate measures approx. 9 inches in diameter and approx. 1 1/4 inches deep. Japanese, Edo Period, early 18th Century. Octagonal form, Hand Painted enamel overglaze contrasting underglaze blue design. Feathers, textile roll, yarn ball and other sacred objects depicted in center. Floral and bird motifs heavily decorating the border. Gold gilt highlights throughout including outlined edge. Underglaze Fuku seal mark with further floral blue designs to reverse. “K-MAIN COLLECTION” sticker on base with typed reference tag attached as well. Excellent antique condition. No chips or cracks.
