Rare & Original Ives Wide Gauge 3241 Electric Locomotive for your consideration. The toy locomotive measures approx. 14 1/2 inches long (13 inches long w/out couplers), 4 inches wide and 5 1/2 inches tall. American, Plymouth, Connecticut. c. 1922. Ives Manufacturing Company. Retains over 90% of original maroon with gold lettering paint. Single headlight, missing bulb. Reads on either side, “THE IVES RAILWAY LINES 3241 N.Y.C. & H.R.”. Good antique condition. Shows wear commensurate with age and use. Missing bell. Being sold As-Is, unknown, and untested condition. Natural aged patina. See photos. Displays handsomely!
