Arcade Toy Fire Ladder Truck for your consideration. The ladder truck measures approx. 7 inches long, 2 3/8 inches wide and 2 1/2 inches tall. American, Illinois c. 1930s. Two-piece cast-iron construction held together with riveted steel rod. Retaining over 90% of the original red paint. Original white rubber tires read, “ARCADE BALLOON 30×5.25”. Original nickel-plated grill. Two fire fighters, one driving, the other riding on the side. Two stationary ladders. Original, “ARCADE” logo decal. Several impressed marks on underside, includes, “U.S.A. 1820” “SG” “1820 ARCADE” “SF” under wheel well and, “DS” under bumper. Excellent vintage, original, unrestored condition. Shows minor wear commensurate with age and use. See photos. Displays superb! Scarce!
