MCM Parquetry Tea Caddy or Tobacco Humidor for your consideration. The box measures approx. 5 inches X 5 inches and 5 1/2 inches tall. Made in China, People’s Republic (PRC), Mao era (1949–1976). Parquetry inlay construction. Triangular lidded box. Finely executed geometric parqueted exterior of alternating dark and light woods. Silver foil lined interior. Likely crafted as a humidor or tea caddy. Stamped on base, “MADE IN CHINA”. Very good vintage condition. Shows minor wear commensurate with age and use. See photos. Displays attractive!
