Japanese Woven Bamboo Hanakago for your consideration. The basket measures approx. 15 1/4 inches tall, 6 1/2 inches wide and 7 1/4 inches deep. Japan, Meiji-Taisho period, first half 20th Century. Flower basket, bamboo, woven herringbone pattern, square form, footed base with tall arched handle. Original gray wash. Excellent vintage condition. Shows wear commensurate with age and use.
