Japanese Hand Painted Flambe Glazed Moon Flask for your consideration. The vase measures approx. 6 3/8 inches tall, 5 inches wide and 1 1/2 inches thick. Top diameter measures approx. 1 inch; base foot measures approx. 1 3/8 inches X 1 3/4 inches. Meiji Period, Japan. Moon flask stylized vase with hand painted floral motifs on each face. Polychrome mottled flambe’ glaze on sides, neck and footed base; outlined in cartouche viny-border design. Signed by artist on underside of base. Excellent antique condition. Shows minor wear commensurate with age and use. See photos. Displays beautiful!
