Antique Chinese Gilt Lacquered Architectural Panel of Horse & Warriors

19th Century Chinese Gilt Lacquered Architectural Panel for your consideration. The panel measures approx. 9 1/2 inches X 12 inches and approx. 1 1/2 inches deep. Chinese, Qing Dynasty. Hand-crafted, wonderfully reticulated figural scene of two warriors, one riding on horse. Gold gilt over red lacquer. Floral cut-out motifs decorating around the figures. Overall, good antique condition. Shows wear commensurate with age and use. Wood is a bit warped with age shrinking and has separated in a few areas, most notably at the upper left corner of the framework. The openwork in the back has some missing pieces and minor restorations. Panel is secure and intact. See photos. Displays handsomely!
