Art Deco gilt bronze “The End Of The Trail” bookends for your consideration. Each bookend measures approx. 3 3/4 inches tall, 4 1/4 inches wide, and 1 3/4 inches deep. The bookends depict James Earle Fraser’s famous artwork of a Native American slouched over on horseback with spear. James was also famous for his artwork on the buffalo nickel. The front of each bookend reads, “THE END OF THE TRAIL”. Nice condition. Shows wear commensurate with age and use. Displays and functions splendid!
