Extra Fine Limoges Portrait Plate for your consideration. The plate measures approx. 8 7/8 inches in diameter and approx. 1 1/4 inches in height. French, 19th Century, Aesthetic Movement. Hand painted portrait on porcelain. Lovely young maiden with curly brown hair and gorgeous bluish-green eyes. She is wearing a white blouse with blue scarf necklace. Muted polychrome background with hint of foliage overhead. Marked on back of plate, “H&Co.” including handwritten, “A” initial. Excellent antique condition. No chips or cracks. Shows minor wear commensurate with age. See photos. Displays stunning!
