Rare & Original Chinese Blue & White Porcelain Calligraphy Plaque in Rosewood Frame for your consideration. The framed plaque measures approx. 10 5/8 inches x 13 3/4 inches and approx. 1 1/8 inches thick. Chinese, PROC, 20th Century. Very finely hand painted blue calligraphy inscribed by Buddhist monk on porcelain plaque. Original rosewood frame with four crafted closures on back and brass hinged Shou character finial on top. Excellent vintage condition. No chips or cracks. Calligraphy is strong and presents beautifully. Shows minor wear commensurate with age. See photos. Displays important! Scarce!
