Large Chinese Famille Rose Vase for your consideration. The vase measures approx. 14 1/4 inches tall. Top diameter measures approx. 6 5/8 inches; base diameter approx. 6 inches. Chinese, 19th Century, late-Qing Dynasty. Baluster-form. Porcelain, Famille Rose, beautifully hand painted details throughout. Inside lip of vase decorated with lovely rose floral motifs. Exterior of vase with four panels; depicting different scenes of imperial garden setting; including Warrior battle, scene of two figures fighting on horseback. Decorative accents also include molded and painted Foo Dog handles, plus four (two on each side) salamander-like dragon motifs. Further decorations of hand painted floral, pomegranate fruits and bird designs throughout. Very good antique condition. Shows wear commensurate with age and use. Possible restorations. Shallow flake to underside lip. Not noticeable except under close examination. See photos. Displays impressive & important!
