19th Century Chinese Gilt Lacquered Architectural Panel for your consideration. The panel measures approx. 7 1/4 inches X 10 7/8 inches and approx. 7/8 of an inch deep. Chinese, Qing Dynasty. Rectangular panel, finely hand carved relief figural scene of qilin (Chinese unicorn) surrounded by stylized scrolling clouds, representing good fortune and longevity. Gold gilt over red lacquer. Framed border, wood panel backing. Very good antique condition. Shows wear commensurate with age and use. Natural aged patina. See photos. Displays intriguing!
