Birmingham Sterling Mount Crystal Claret Jug for your consideration. The claret jug measures approx. 10 1/2 inches tall and approx.
5 1/4 inches from spout to handle. The base diameter measures approx. 5 inches. Sterling silver hallmark by William Hutton & Sons. Early 20th Century, c. 1903; Birmingham, England. Art Nouveau crystal with diamond cut frieze and spiral twist base. Star cut detail to underside. Sterling silver handle and spout mount with decorative finial hinged lid. Hallmarked on collar and under lid. Hand etched number on inside rim, “36344”. Very good antique condition. Shows minor wear commensurate with age and use. Small manufacturing flaw of extended cut to glass slightly above diamond band. Silver is a bit tarnished and pitting to one side of collar. See photos. Displays lovely!
