Antique Barber Razor Strop for your consideration. The strop measures approx. 12 1/4 inches long, 1 5/8 inches wide and 7/8 of an inch thick. American, 19th Century. Made by Benjamin F. Badger, Charlestown, Massachusetts. Razor strop (strap). Original, old box covering, advertisement reads, “GERMAN BELT STRAP” “WARRANTED SUPER-QUALITY” “RAZOR SUPER QUALITY STRAP” “BADGER” “MANUFACTURED BY BENJAMIN F. BADGER CHARLEWTOWN, MASS.”. Original wooden handle with wooden threaded dowel that screws into leather wrapped sharpening stone. Good antique condition. Shows wear commensurate with age and use. Box covering is missing in some areas. See photos. Displays splendid!
