Rare 19th Century P. A. Larsen Caloric Punch Bottle with Original Label for your consideration. The bottle measures approx. 12 1/4 inches tall. Top diameter measures approx. 1 inch; base diameter approx. 2 7/8 inches. Paris, France c. 1878, the year of the “Exposition Universelle” World’s Fair. Blown in mold (BIM) bottle with tooled lip and kick-up base. Embossed lettering in triangular form reads, “P. A. LARSEN” three times. Original label reads, “ONLY GOLD MEDAL” “FOR NORWEGIAN PUNCH” “PARIS 1878” “CALORIC PUNCH” “P. A. LARSEN” and “KRISTIANIA”. Very good antique condition; no chips or cracks. Shows minor wear commensurate with age and use, including (but not limited to) manufacturing flaws, imperfections, soiling, age spots, stains, oxidation, crude bubbles, hairlines, fleabites, etc… See photos.
