Rare Effaxan Shoe Polish Tin for your consideration. The tin measures approx. 3 inches in diameter and approx. 7/8 of an inch thick. German origin; c. 1930s. Tin-litho imagery of vulture buzzard-type bird perched on rock. Lettering on face of lid reads, “EFFAXAN EDEL-PASTE POLISH”. Further advertisements and product information is detailed on sides and backside of tin. Very good condition. Shows wear commensurate with age and use. Litho imagery is crisp and clear. Signs of minor wear include light denting, rust and soiling. Shoe polish residue remnant remains inside container. See photos. Hard to find, displays attractive!
