Antique Grouping of Mourning Jewelry, Portraits, Religious & Personal Mementos for your consideration. This collection includes the following ten items as seen in the photos provided:

1.) Red-Velvet & Pewter Jesus Christ Crucifix Portrait Plaque. Measures approx. 3 1/4 inches X 5 1/8 inches and approx. 1 1/4 inches deep. Fold-out easel-style stand on back for displaying on shelf or string loop for hanging on wall.

2.) Tintype 1/6 Plate Studio Portrait of Young Man in Unusual Hand Painted Garden Background Setting. Measures approx. 1 7/8 inches X 3 3/16 inches.

3.) Art Nouveau Embossed Semi-Nude Woman Smelling Flower, Scent Bottle. Measures approx. 2 5/8 inches tall, 7/8 of an inch wide and 1/2 of an inch thick. Brass lid, clear glass with raised imagery on both sides. Cork top stopper. Unmarked.

4.) Art Nouveau Beaded Leather Evening Purse with Silver Roses Motif Latch. Measures approx. 5 1/2 inches long, 5 inches wide and 1 3/4 inches deep. Purse is marked on reverse of latch, “PAT. JUL. 2. 01.”. Missing shoulder strap or handle(s). Light soiling and age stains to leather. Missing some beads.

5.) Mourning Jewelry, Swivel-Portrait Pin. Measures approx. 1 inch in diameter and approx. 3/8 of an inch deep. Brass and glass housing that swivels with two black & white portraits. Beautiful young lady on one side with gentleman on the other. The young man’s photo is in a state of disrepair, including a crack across the glass. Displays nicely with the woman’s photo visible. Unmarked.

6.) Silver Filigree Lily Brooch. Measures approx. 3 3/4 inches long, 2 1/4 inches wide and 3/4 of an inch deep. Unmarked.

7.) Bakelite Claw / Talon Miniature Pipe. Measures approx. 2 1/2 inches long, 3/8 of an inch wide and 3/4 of an inch tall. Marked, “Sport” in cursive.

8.) Art Nouveau Cut-Glass Ruby & Bronze Brooch. Measures approx. 2 1/2 inches long, 1 3/4 inches wide and 3/4 of an inch deep. Costume, Unmarked.

9.) Green Jade Bar Pin Brooch with Emerald Rhinestones. Measures approx. 3 1/2 inches long, 5/8 of an inch wide and 1/2 of an inch deep. Costume, Unmarked.

10.) Mourning Braided Hair Brooch. Measures approx. 1 9/16 inches X 1 7/8 inches and approx. 1/2 of an inch deep. Tightly plaited hair woven into checkerboard pattern, under glass and encased in brass oval brooch. Reverse side has original mourning portrait of lovely young lady. Unmarked.

The items date from the mid 19th Century to the 20th Century. Items are in good antique / vintage condition.
