Napolean III Art Glass, Onyx & Brass Oil Lamp Base for your consideration. The lamp base measures approx. 11 1/4 inches tall, 3 1/2 inches wide, and 3 1/2 inches deep. Continental, likely English, second half 19th Century. Honey-onyx column with stepped brass base and Tuscan stylized capital. Pink iridescent glass font with old Queen Anne #2 brass collar replacement. Very good antique condition. Shows minimal wear commensurate with age and use. Brass threaded collar shows traces of adhesive paste on interior, yet secure with no cosmetic issues. Onyx column shows some irregularities to the stone towards the base on one side; unsure if this is natural characteristics in the stone or if this is an old repair. Regardless, doesn’t detract from the beauty, functionality or value of the item. See photos. Displays exceptional!
