Thomas Forester Majolica “Say Please” Child with Dog Pitcher for your consideration. The pitcher measures approx. 8 inches tall and approx. 6 inches from spout to handle. Last quarter 19th Century; England. Each side of pitcher has raised scene of child and dog. Reads, “Say Please” underneath. Cobalt blue and golden yellow glazed borders with brown band and green foliage in center. Light pink glazed interior. Handwritten cobalt mark on base. Overall, good antique condition. Shows wear commensurate with age and use. Three flakes along the lip including a fairly well-done restoration to the spout. Chip to top of handle and one more chip at base rim. Two hairlines on underside base. Further condition issues include but not limited to crazing, soiling, manufacturing flaws, glaze pops, etc… See photos. Displays exquisite, Shabby Chic!
