Rare & Original Antique Tole Octagonal Tray for your consideration. The tray is smaller, measuring approx. 6 inches X 8 3/4 inches and approx. 1/2 of an inch tall. American, likely New York, second quarter 19th Century. Folk-Art, toleware. Octagonal, coffin shaped tin tray. Original black painted base, hand painted vibrant floral decoration in red, green & yellow. Decorated with wavy yellow painted border design. Overall, good antique condition. Shows wear commensurate with age and use. Sporadic paint loss. See photos. Displays impressive for almost 200 years old!
