Portrait measures approx. 8 1/8 inches X 10 1/8 inches. American, late 19th Century. Watercolor. Hand colored portrait of young boy dressed in dapper blue suit. He is standing with arm rested on table. Sweet young boy looks as if he would much rather be playing outside than having to stand still in that stiff outfit. Portrait is under glass and encased in beautiful period oak frame. Excellent antique condition. Shows wear commensurate with age. Updated archival acid-free blue matte. See photos. Displays precious!
