Antique Walnut Cigar Box with Mother of Pearl Inlay

Victorian Walnut & Nacre Inlay Cigar Tobacco Box for your consideration. The box measures approx. 6 inches tall, 11 inches wide and 6 1/2 deep. English or French origin; second half 19th Century. Decorated walnut humidor box with mother of pearl floral design inlay. Inlay reads, “TABAC & CIGARES”. M.O.P. key insert. Double hinged lid with original support chain. Wood insulated lining. Very good antique condition. Shows wear commensurate with age and use. Missing key. Box still opens and closes properly. Looks to have a little moisture damage to bottom but does not have any mold or musty smell inside or outside of box. Top corner appears to have minor restoration. See photos. Displays handsomely!
