Rare & Original Victorian Rand McNally Terrestrial Globe for your consideration. Measures approx. 21 inches tall and approx. 12″ diameter globe. American, Chicago, late 19th to early 20th Century. Terrestrial globe mounted on bronzed metal tripod claw & ball stand. Globe swivels on axis. Reads, “RAND McNALLY & Co.’s NEW TWELVE INCH TERRESTRIAL GLOBE”. Good antique condition. Shows obvious wear commensurate with age and use. Most notable is a divot in the area of Persia. Natural aged patina. See photos. Displays handsomely archaic!
