Rare & Original Antique Minton for Maison Toy Paris Demitasse Cup and Saucer for your consideration. The saucer measures approx. 4 3/4 inches in diameter and approx. 7/8 of an inch tall. The cup measures approx. 2 3/8 inches tall and approx. 3 1/2 inches from rim to handle. Top diameter of cup measures approx. 2 3/4 inches, base diameter approx. 1 7/8 inches. Gothic-Renaissance Revival, 19th Century, England. Minton exclusively designed and crafted for the very classy store, Maison Toy off Rue Halevy 6, Paris, in a very limited production. Hand decorated floral transfer Aesthetic Movement design. Marked on both saucer and cup with “MINTONS” globe and crown mark including, “MAISON TOY 6. RUE HALEVY, 6 PARIS” on base of each. The saucer has an illegible impressed mark and a handwritten mark, “B705”. Very good antique condition. Shows minor wear commensurate with age. Faint age-line to rim of cup. See photos.
