Native American Pueblo Kachina Doll for your consideration. The doll measures approx. 10 inches tall, 6 inches wide and 3 3/4 inches deep. American, Arizona, Mid 20th Century, Hopi or Zuni. Folk Art, cottonwood, hand carved and decorated Kachina / Katsina doll. Masked figure, dancing, standing upright with arms out. The beaked mask is hand painted in turquoise, tan, black and white geometric designs and further decorated with black feathers. The doll is outfitted in a hand painted leather skirt, yarn sash, turquoise leather armbands and turquoise painted footwear. Overall, good vintage condition. Shows wear commensurate with age. Chips to beak and left hand. Very soiled and could use a good cleaning by a professional restorer. See photos. Displays intriguing!
