The porcelain painting measures approx. 7 inches X 9 1/4 inches. Late 19th Century; likely German or French origin. Portrait painting on porcelain depicts young gypsy lady resting her chin and neck on her hand. Porcelain plaque is secured to pink felt fabric backing and framed in decorative gold-gilt heavy metal frame. No artist signature detected. Porcelain plaque has not been removed from frame to inspect the back for makers marks. Excellent antique condition. Shows minor wear commensurate with age. See photos. Displays gorgeous!
