Description
Antique Chinese God of Longevity Carved Rosewood Figurine for your consideration. The carving is a nice mid-size, measuring approx. 11 3/4 inches tall, 4 5/8 inches wide and 3 1/4 inches deep. Late 19th to early 20th Century; Chinese. Hand carved deity holding staff with child. Carved bone teeth and eyes. Fine detail. Very good condition. Shows wear commensurate with age. Looks to have small chip to staff and possible reattachment. Deity is possibly missing bone eyes, but is hard to tell, because it looks as if he is squinting. Condition issues are not noticeable except under close examination. See photos. Displays handsomely!
