Antique Chinese Cloisonne Dragon Flaming Pearl Tea Caddy for your consideration. The tea caddy measures approx. 3 5/8 inches tall and 3 3/4 inches in diameter. Chinese, late 19th to early 20th Century. Tea caddy or tobacco jar. Cylindrical, lidded, cloisonne, bronze and enamel construction. Heavily decorated with a pair of five-toed dragons chasing the flaming pearl on the sides of the container with another dragon guarding the flaming pearl on lid. Waved-aqueous patterned decorations toward the base of the container. Sky blue enamel covering underside of base, lid and interior of container. Unmarked. Excellent antique condition. Shows minor wear commensurate with age and use. See photos. Displays splendid!
