Oriental Blue & White Transfer Ironstone Platter for your consideration. The platter measures approx. 11 3/8 inches X 13 1/8 inches and approx. 1 1/4 inches tall. Continental, late 19th to early 20th Century. Japonisme; Arita style. Blue transfer design of gamebirds in floral setting against white ground. Geometric floral decorated blue and white transfer border. Applied reddish-brown outline on edge of platter. Unmarked. Excellent vintage condition. Shows minor wear commensurate with age and use. Crazing and faint age stains throughout. See photos. Displays splendid!
