Antique Dresden Porcelain Candlestick for your consideration. The candlestick measures approx. 13 1/8 inches tall, 6 inches wide and 4 3/4 inches deep. Diameter of candle insert measures approx. 3/4 of an inch and approx. 7/8 of an inch deep. German, Potschappel, Dresden, early 20th Century. Carl Thieme. Porcelain, hand painted, figural single candlestick. Charming scene of cherub-like figure running with flower in hand. The candlestick column is fashioned as a tree trunk with attached flowers at base. Gold gilt cartouche footed base. Underglazed cobalt Dresden mark on base including impressed, “B10490T” mark. Very good antique condition. Shows wear commensurate with age and use. A few chips to large flower towards base. Not noticeable except under close examination. See photos. Displays elegantly!
