Continental Sterling Silver Gold Vermeil Sugar Sifter Spoon for your consideration. The spoon measures approx. 6 inches long. Spoon bowl measures approx. 1 1/2 inches in diameter and approx. 1/4 of an inch deep. Likely French origin; 19th Century. Gold vermeil neck and scalloped bowl is pierced for sifting. Sterling silver handle is decorated with raised rococo-style cartouche motifs. The spoon is hallmarked on the back of the handle. Overall, good antique condition. Shows wear commensurate with age and use. Silver is a bit tarnished, with minor denting and the handle appears to be slightly crooked. See photos. Displays elegantly!
