Rare & Original KPM Blanc de Chine Tureen for your consideration. The tureen measures approx. 8 1/4 inches tall, 10 1/2 inches wide (handle to handle) and 8 1/8 inches deep. Germany, Berlin, 19th Century. Kӧnigliche Porzellan-Manufaktur; Rocaille pattern, after Friedrich Elias Meyer (1723-1785). Blanc de chine; very fine bouquets of sprigs and swags adorning lid and sides of the tureen. Cherub figure finial atop lid holding a cluster of grapes. Pair of handles with applied porcelain floral rose motifs. Slightly scalloped shaped rim. KPM underglaze blue sceptre mark including several impressed marks. Excellent antique condition. No chips or cracks detected. Shows minimal wear commensurate with age. See photos. Displays lovely!
