Pair of Japanese Woodblock Framed Prints for your consideration. Each framed print measures approx. 9 3/4 inches X 11 3/4 inches. Each print measures approx. 6 1/2 inches X 8 1/2 inches. One of the prints has three figures; one male with two females in minka style house. Japanese symbols to the upper left. The second print depicts three female figures; one playing flute while the other two listen. The ladies are in garden setting. Japanese symbols towards top center. Both prints are under glass and framed in period red, black and gold painted wood frames. Prints are marked in corners, “P.L.B. c.24” and “P.L.B. c.23”. Very good condition. Shows wear commensurate with age. Each print has small areas of print loss, rubs, tears, etc… One print is under reverse painted glass and there are small areas of black paint loss. Wood frames show areas of minor nicks and paint loss. See photos. The framed woodblock prints display delightful!
