Pair of Italian Porcelain Pottery Woven Lattice Basketweave Wall Pockets for your consideration. Each wall pocket measures approx. 8 inches in diameter and approx. 3 inches deep. The wall pockets have porcelain inserts, each measuring approx. 2 1/2 inches tall, 2 7/8 inches wide and 2 inches deep. Italian, 20th Century. Majolica, faience style, hand painted. Delicate porcelain basketweave circular design with tulip-stylized sconce/wall pockets. Applied porcelain floral motifs decorating the borders. Each wall pocket has impressed, “ITALY” and “123” marks and one wall pocket has, “C/3” mark. Very good vintage condition. Shows wear commensurate with age and use. A few nicks and small chipping to flower adornments. One insert has shallow flake to back. Condition issues are not noticeable except under close examination. See photos. Displays elegantly!
