The cruet measures approx. 6 inches tall with stopper; 5 inches tall without stopper, 3 1/4 inches deep and 3 1/8 inches wide. American, second half 19th Century. Art Glass. Hobbs, Brockunier & Co. No. 326. Windows-Swirl, cranberry opalescent, glass stopper cruet. The opalescent circular treatment Hobbs is famous for is known as Windows or Windows Swirl. Collectors also refer to this technique as coin-dot or honeycomb glass. Unmarked. Pontil on base. Excellent antique condition. Shows minor wear commensurate with age and use. Imperfection in glass towards the inside base of the attached handle. Not noticeable except under close examination. See photos. Displays lovely!
