Rare & Original Folk Art Sewer Tile Tree Stump Jug for your consideration. The jug is a nice larger size, measuring approx. 11 inches tall and approx. 11 1/2 inches from handle to rim. Top opening measures approx. 6 1/4 inches X 7 1/4 inches; base diameter measures approx. 4 5/8 inches. American, first half 20th Century. Folk Art, skillfully handcrafted handled jug fashioned from sewer tile clay. Hand painted and stylized bark with two inserted cut-wood limb details. Excellent vintage condition. Shows wear commensurate with age and use. See photos. Displays superb!
