Rare & Original Consolidated Glass Dance of the Nudes Bowl for your consideration. The bowl measures approx. 8 3/4 inches in diameter and approx. 3 1/4 inches tall. The footed base measures approx. 3 inches in diameter. American, Pennsylvania, 20th Century. Art Deco. Consolidated Lamp & Glass Company. Martelé. Designed by Reuben Haley (1872-1933). In the style of René Lalique’s “Bacchantes”. Art Glass, centerpiece, bowl, pressed glass, featuring dancing nude nymphs with banners and horns in frosted and clear relief. Unsigned. Very good vintage condition. No chips or cracks. Shows minor wear commensurate with age and use. A few fleabites to footed rim. Some nymphs—particularly those with banners—have mold “threads” that should not be confused with cracks. See photos. Displays beautifully! Scarce!
