Description
Art Glass Fritz Heckert Bud Vase for your consideration. The vase measures approx. 7 inches tall. Top diameter measures approx. 1 inch and inner diameter approx. 5/8 of an inch; base diameter approx. 2 3/4 inches. Late 19th to early 20th Century; Bohemia. Unusual form. Applied handle with swirl blown glass design. Four embossed glass flower motifs. Raised enameling in blue and white flowers plus further decorations of hand painted viny foliage. Gold gilt accents at base and lip. Signed on base, “F. H.” “5209” and “378P”. Excellent antique condition, near Mint. Shows minor wear commensurate with age. Two enameled glass flower pedals are not fully raised, likely manufacturing flaws (see photos 5 & 6). Not noticeable except under close examination. See photos. Displays elegantly!
