Antique Miniature Portrait Painting of Gentleman in Original Presentation Case The case measures approx. 3 inches X 3 1/2 inches and approx. 1/2 of an inch thick. Continental, early 19th century. Hand painted; finely executed watercolor portrait of older gentleman under glass and encased in gold gilt frame. Original leather case with decorative border. Single hinge with functional latch. Purple silk lining under lid. Framed portrait rests into molded, purple velvet base. Excellent antique condition. Shows wear commensurate with age. See photos. Displays exquisite!
