Antique Framed Mezzotint of Mother & Child for your consideration. The framed print measures approx. 15 3/4 inches X 19 3/4 inches and approx. 1 1/2 inches thick. The print measures approx. 12 inches X 16 inches. England, London, 18th Century. After Old Master artist Sir Joshua Reynolds (1723-1792). Mezzotint in color, engraving on cream laid paper, published in 1778 by John Dean (1754-1798). Print is under glass and housed in contempered gold painted wooden frame. Artwork depicts Lady Elizabeth and her child in pastoral setting. Good antique condition. Colors are vivid and imagery brilliant. The print does show signs of faint staining and age spots to borders and paper backing. See photos. Displays precious!
