19th Century Chinese Tibetan Dragon Teapot for your consideration. The teapot measures approx. 9 1/2 inches tall; 12 inches from spout to handle. Mixed metals. Five turquoise cabochon jewels on lid with cartouche design and lotus bud finial. Figural dragon handle. Three applied dragon motifs to body. Overall, good condition. Shows wear commensurate with age and use. Restoration soldered underside of lotus bud finial and underside of dragon’s head on handle. Not visible except when lid is removed or when teapot is turned upside down. See photos. Displays extraordinary!
