Very Rare & Original Antique Advertisement by The Meyercord Co. Decal Wood Panel Advertising “Head Dresses of the Orient” for your consideration. The wood panel measures approx. 11 inches X 17 inches and approx. 3/8 of an inch thick. Wood veneer panel. Decal of side profile Indian male wearing turban. Towards the bottom of the decal reads, “HEAD DRESSES OF THE ORIENT “A-MAHRATTA” INDIA Copyrighted 1904-by Edwin Rood”. At the bottom left corner it reads, “COMPLIMENTS OF TRUE & TRUE, CHICAGO”. On the back of the panel is an original paper label that reads, “NOTICE” “DO NOT HANG SIGN OVER RADIATOR, STEAM PIPES OR STOVES – TO CLEAN. WASH WITH COLD OR LUKEWARM WATER.” “THE MEYERCORD CO.” “CHICAGO”. Chain on back for hanging on wall. Very good antique condition. Shows wear commensurate with age and use. See photos.
