Antique English Rainbow Spatterware Teapot for your consideration. The teapot measures approx. 4 1/4 inches tall and approx. 5 1/2 inches from handle to spout. Dates to first half of the 19th Century. Staffordshire pottery. Alternating black and purple spatter banded “rainbow” design. Shows wear acceptable with age and use. Knob handle chipped on top of lid. Lid insert is 40% chipped and missing. Age lines on exterior that do not go through. Age lines on spout. Age lines and a few contact marks on base. Chip underneath handle and on face of one side. See photos. Displays splendid. Scarce!
