Karl Sigmund Luber for Johann von Schwarz, Art Nouveau Majolica Small Tray for your consideration. The tray measures approx. 6 7/8 inches long, 3 7/8 inches wide and 3/4 of an inch tall. Nuremberg, Germany, late 19th to early 20th Century. Jugendstil, Reliefed-contours with majolica polychromatic glazes. Colorful landscape. Girl chasing dog with megaphone. Marks on back include impressed number, “8641” and handwritten mark, “94”. Very good antique condition, no chips or cracks. Shows minor wear commensurate with age. Small, unglazed portion to bottom rim. A few very minor fleabites to base. Not noticeable except under close examination. See photos. Displays splendid, Scarce!
