Both mugs attributed to Whites Pottery, Utica. Stoneware, salt-glazed with cobalt highlights. The larger mug, “Iroquois Brewing Co. Buffalo, N.Y.” measures approx. 5 inches tall and approx. 4 3/4 inches from lip rim to handle. Rim chip including an approx. 1 1/2-inch line descending from it, as well as a horizontal crack and hairline through handle, yet secure. The smaller mug, “Schlitz Brewing Co. MILWAUKEE” measures approx. 4 1/2 inches tall and approx. 4 inches from lip rim to handle. One inch flake to rim, hairlines from rim, a short triangular crack to rim, as well as staining. See photos.
