Staffordshire Aesthetic Movement Transferware Mug for your consideration. The mug measures approx. 3 1/4 inches tall and approx. 4 5/8 inches from rim to handle. Second half 19th Century; English. Reddish-pink transfer print decoration against creamy-white ground. Geometric design with diamond shaped castle scenes. Raised flower motifs at top. Further floral transfer decorations throughout. Faint English Registry and illegible maker’s mark on base. Very good antique condition. Shows minor wear commensurate with age and use. Small fleabite to base edge. Transferware is a bit faded in a few areas. See photos. Displays excellent!
