Staffordshire Aesthetic Movement Transferware Jug for your consideration. The jug measures approx. 6 3/4 inches tall and approx. 5 inches from spout to handle. Second half 19th Century; English. Reddish-pink transfer print decoration against creamy-white ground. Geometric design with diamond shaped maritime scene of young person laying on rock boulder looking across sea with sailboat in the distance. Raised flower motifs at top. Further floral transfer decorations throughout. Faint English Registry Mark on base. Very good antique condition. No chips or cracks. Shows minor wear commensurate with age and use. Transferware is a bit faded in a few areas. See photos. Displays exquisite!
