Red Lacquered Japanese Red Headed Cranes Tea Canister Tin

Red Lacquered Tin Tea Canister with Red Headed Cranes Decoration for your consideration. The canister measures approx. 6 inches tall and approx. 4 3/8 inches in diameter. The two cranes are gold gilt with applied red and black lacquer. Gold gilt sun or moon and floral decoration of black lacquered tree with mother of pearl details. Lidded container with additional inside lid with knob. Mark on base reads, “CONTAINER MADE IN JAPAN”. Very good condition. Shows minor wear commensurate with age and use. Light scratching and small amounts of lacquer loss. See photos. Displays splendid!
