Rare & Original Peter Hunt Style Folk Art Bench for your consideration. The bench measures approx. 18 1/2 inches long, 13 1/2 inches deep and 18 inches tall. American, mid 20th Century. Attrib. to Cape Cod artist Peter Hunt (1896-1967). Hand painted, polychrome, pine stool with embroidered seat. Pennsylvania German and French Provincial inspired, heart and flower motifs decorating one side of bench. Old cushioned, floral designed fabric covered top. Very good chippy condition. Shows wear commensurate with age and use. See photos. Displays superb!
