Rare & Original Nymphenburg Porcelain Circus Performing Poodle for your consideration. The figurine measures approx. 6 inches tall, 2 1/4 inches wide and 2 1/4 inches deep. Germany, 20th Century. Designed by Luise Terletzki-Scherf (1902-1966). Hard paste, hand painted figurine of a circus performing poodle in black and white checkered top hat and blue bow tie. Poodle is sitting on haunches atop decorative yellow & pink garlanded pedestal with front paws in the air. Marked, Nymphenburg” with crown and shield mark. In addition, impressed crown and shield mark, style number, “958” and model number, “4”. Overall, good vintage condition. Shows wear commensurate with age. Poodle has broken left paw and missing the removable cane. See photos. Displays adorable! Scarce!
